Side effects and precaution about Sildenafil

Like any medication Sildenafil has its own special side effects and precautions.  Usually they are not so common, but still it is very important to learn about them and remember some warnings.

Sildenafil is created only for men who have problems with erection. Sildenafil is not intended for use by children under 18 years old and by women.

Viagra should never be combined or any other impotence medication. Viagra should not be taken more than once per 24 hours. Excessive alcohol use may limit the effect of Viagra.

You have to remember that you will not get an instant erection. You must be aroused for Sildenafil to work. Viagra starts to work in about 30 minutes and after sex erection goes away like it should be normally. To get the fastest results, take Sildenafil on an empty stomach or after eating a low-fat meal.

Grapefruit juice: Grapefruit juice can increase the amount of Sildenafil in your bloodstream. Do not drink grapefruit juice while taking Viagra.

Alcohol: Large amount of alcohol in your blood might decrease the ability to get an erection and may also temporarily decrease blood pressure, causing dizziness and headache.
